User Data Deletion Instructions

You can revoke Desi Kala's access and request deletion of information received through Meta. Revoking access stops future API access, while the deletion request tells us to remove information already stored by the Service.

Step 1: Revoke the Meta connection

1. Sign in to the Facebook account that authorized the connection.
2. Open Settings & privacy, then Settings.
3. Open Business Integrations or Apps and Websites. Meta may use different labels depending on the account.
4. Select Desi Kala, choose Remove, and confirm. If Meta offers an option to request deletion of information, select it as well.

Step 2: Request deletion from Desi Kala

1. Email [email protected] with the subject Meta data deletion request.
2. Include your name, company name, work email address, and the email address used for the Desi Kala invitation.
3. If available, include the relevant Meta Business Portfolio or ad account name. Do not send your Facebook password, one-time code, app secret, or access token.

What we delete

After verifying the request, we delete the associated client record, encrypted Meta access token, Meta user identifier, granted permissions, Business Portfolio records, ad account records, Facebook Page records, linked Instagram professional account identifiers, OAuth session data, and related operation records under our control.

Timing and confirmation

We normally acknowledge requests within two business days and complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. We will send confirmation to the verified requester when deletion is complete. A deleted connection must complete Meta authorization again before Desi Kala can access or manage advertising assets.

Limited retention exceptions

We may retain a minimal record when required by law or reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, accounting, or enforcement of legal rights. Any retained information remains restricted to that purpose and is not used for advertising. Backup copies may remain temporarily until overwritten through ordinary retention cycles.
